Marissa Cossolini is a pediatric occupational therapist, certified autism specialist, and the founder of My Potential. Her work is guided by the belief that every child’s light deserves the opportunity to shine, and that meaningful progress happens through compassionate, family-centered care built on collaboration.

Her clinical expertise includes sensory integration, feeding therapy, DIR/Floortime-informed approaches, and children’s yoga—supporting regulation, engagement, and participation in daily life.

Marissa has extensive experience working in an out-of-district school setting serving children and young adults ages 3–21 with a wide range of abilities, diagnoses, and support needs. In addition to her clinical background, she has held administrative leadership roles and has designed and developed innovative programming for students, including the creation of a vocational high school program located on Jersey City’s NJCU campus to support transition and independence. She enjoys mentoring aspiring OT clinicians and teaches as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University in the pediatric skills lab for the master’s program.

Opening a pediatric therapy clinic was always part of Marissa’s long-term vision. Through My Potential, she is committed to closing gaps in pediatric therapy services and reducing fragmented care by offering an integrated, collaborative model that empowers children and families. Her approach blends evidence-based practice with compassion, always centered on helping children grow, thrive, and shine in their own unique way.
