A Free Parent Workshop at My Potential Kids in Scotch Plains, NJ

Join us at My Potential for a Free Interactive Workshop
At My Potential Kids, we know that parenting through big emotions can be challenging — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
We’re excited to host our upcoming family workshop, “Calm Kids, Calm Home: Regulation Starts With Us.” This interactive session is designed to support parents in understanding emotional regulation and building practical strategies that can create more ease at home.
Why Emotional Regulation Matters for Children
Emotional regulation is a skill that develops gradually throughout childhood. When children experience big feelings, sensory overwhelm, or difficulty with transitions, they often need steady support from the adults around them.
Research in child development highlights the importance of co-regulation — the process by which children build regulation skills through calm, connected interactions with caregivers. When adults feel supported and confident, children benefit.
This workshop creates space for that support.
